Caring For Corian®
Day to day cleaning is fast and requires no special tools. Simply wiping down your surface with soapy water or ammonia-based cleaners will remove most dirt and stains from all types of finishes. For those slightly tougher stains, an abrasive cleaner gets them right out.
Professional care
Using your solid surface product and cleaning it regularly will keep it healthy. Scratches and wear may however eventually show after time, but no need to worry, with solid surface products it is easy to return your purchase to its original perfect condition. Although you can sometimes do this on your own, when your counters need it you can have us come and take care of it professionally.
We resurface and recondition all brands and makes of solid surface products. Give us a call for a free estimate.

Preventing heat damage
Although Corian® has a remarkable ability to resist heat, it is always safer to use caution. To prevent heat damage, always use a hot pad or a trivet with rubber feet. Hot pans, as well as some heat-generating appliances like frying pans or crock pots, can damage the surface if a hot pad or trivet is not used.
Preventing other damage
Avoid exposure to strong chemicals, such as paint removers, oven cleaners, etc. If contact occurs, quickly flush the surface with water.
| - |
Remove nail polish with a non-acetone-based nail polish remover and flush with water. |
| - |
Do not cut directly on countertops. |
| - |
Run cold water when pouring boiling water into sinks. |
As stated before, minor maintenance is easy to take care of on your own but certain tasks are best left up to us. Contact us if you have any questions.
